HOME PRE-SHOOT CHECKLIST

Outside

• Remove vehicles from the driveway or where they could be seen in photographs
• Remove any signage including for sale or political
• Remove any seasonal decorations
• Store trash cans out-of-sight and remove all trash or debris from front and back yards
• Close garage door (if applicable)

Inside

• Clear off countertops and table completely, putting away all appliances and distracting items (may leave a flower vase or small decoration
• Hide trash can
• Make sure there is nothing on the outside of the refrigerator (stickers, magnets, reminders)
• Close toilet seats
• Hide trash cans
• Put away all personal items
• Clear off countertops and back of toilet completely
• Store away valuables and personal photographs
• Replace any burnt-out bulbs and turn on all lights
• Remove area rugs
• Remove pet supplies from view
• Clean all TVs, mirrors and windows
• Dust ceiling fans
• Hide all wires (chargers, extension cords, etc.)
• *The same applies to any area you are wanting photographed—empty closets, organize garage, etc.
